Dear Pride and/or Quantum Provider,

Due to changes to California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act (also known as Proposition 65) and the regulations implemented thereunder (see 27 CCR §25102 et seq.), manufacturers (and their resellers) who sell products into the State of California are required to warn consumers about potential exposure to hazardous substances (e.g., lead, saw dust) contained in their products that may cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Although Pride has no evidence that use of its products causes actual exposure to such substances, Pride intends to err on the side of caution by placing Proposition 65 warning labels on its products going forward.

If you sell Pride and/or Quantum products in California or if you may incidentally sell such products in California, then you are required to post the following Proposition 65 warnings on such products or on your website prior to sale.

For any Pride or Quantum product listed for sale on your website, you must post the Proposition 65 warning on the product listing page on your website. For any Pride or Quantum product on display in your showroom, you must post the Proposition 65 warning on the product with hang-tag or else on a placard directly next to the product. All such warnings must comply with Article 6 of the Proposition 65 regulations (see 27 CCR §25601 et seq.).

If you sell Pride or Quantum products to another reseller who then sells directly to consumers, then you must pass along the above warning requirements to such reseller.
